Preview: The Into Film Festival

The Into Film Festival takes place from November 4 to 21, offering schools a range of opportunities to use film to inspire and educate their pupils. The festival’s artistic director, Sam Wilson, previews this year's event

"I would like to thank you very much for the gift of free films for our pupils to watch this week. It has been eye-opening that so few of our children have been to a cinema and this was the ideal opportunity to broaden their experience.” Ms Jones, from Derwendeg Primary School in Caerphilly, speaking after last year’s National Youth Film Festival.

New and exciting opportunities for teachers to harness the educational value of film and share an enriching day out with their pupils are on offer to every school in the country at the Into Film Festival 2014 – the world’s largest film festival for children and young people, taking place from November 4 to 21.
