Pupils inspire healthy eating

Pupils Profit offers high-quality enterprise toolkits to groups of key stage 2 children, enabling them to set up their own business at school.

The business can be a healthy tuck shop or stationery shop. Children practise each of STEMNET’s top 10 employability skills as they operate their business – and the Tuck Shop initiative gives a welcome boost to a school’s five-a-day intake!

The Pupils Profit healthy tuck shop snacks are within the School Food Plan guidelines, ensuring they contribute to the children’s health and wellbeing. The good news is the children love them, and take great pride in selling them, and the Stationery Shop range includes an eco-friendly selection.

One teacher told us: “The company has made the whole process a smooth one. I initially thought the Healthy Tuck Shop would involve a lot of support from myself as class teacher – however they have made it simple enough for the children to run the business almost independently.”
