A more efficient A++ heating solution for schools

The introduction of the ErP Directive allows schools to clearly understand which heating systems can help reduce running costs, lower emissions and qualify for government incentives...

As a major part of the new European regulations for energy labelling and eco design, the ErP (Energy-related Products) rating system will help raise standards of energy efficiency across the board.

ErP means that all space and water heaters will need to display an energy label which will help both residential and commercial customers identify the most energy-efficient products on the market and brings heating products into line with other energy consuming goods such as fridges and washing machines.

Since September 2015, ErP has applied to commercial and domestic heating and hot water products, including electrical powered heating, gas and oil boilers, water heaters and cylinders, as well as renewable technologies such as solar thermal and heat pumps.
