BOOK REVIEW: Sorting Out Behaviour

Behaviour
Sorting Out Behaviour does not try to give confusing theories but instead focuses on practical approaches that will address behavioural issues.

Sorting Out Behaviour does not try to give confusing theories but instead focuses on practical approaches that will address behavioural issues.

The book is arranged into a number of short sections such as “dealing with complaints” and “inclusion rooms”, each referring to an aspect of the school day or school life that can be worked on.

The author is clearly someone who has been there and done it with more than 20 years of experience at a number of schools, demonstrated by anecdotes at various points in the 90-odd pages.

Even though this is a “headteacher’s guide”, this would be suitable for any senior leader in a school.
