Early Years Provision in Schools Masterclass

CPD
A masterclass focusing on early years provision in schools is to form a key part of the Nursery World Show 2016.

The two-day event will include a morning-long session aimed at helping schools to achieve the best outcomes for young children through high-quality "enabling environments" and skilled and supportive practitioners.

Nursery World – which is a sister title to Headteacher Update – is hosting the annual conference and exhibition on February 5 and 6, 2016.

Among the speakers in the Early Years Provision in Schools – Policy and Practice masterclass, which takes place on the Saturday, February 6, from 9:30am until 12:30pm, will be Professor Tina Bruce CBE, a leading early years educator.

Prof Bruce will set out best practice underpinned by the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage. As well as touching on her own pioneering work — the 10 principles of early childhood education and the 12 features of play — she will focus on the Froebel approach to early education and its continuing relevance to all early years settings today.
