Deaf mentoring

A project that trains deaf pupils aged 10 and above to mentor other deaf children of all ages has been unveiled by the National Deaf Children’s Society.

Schools are being offered access to an extensive range of free autism resources as well as expert advice. Launched by the National Autistic Society (NAS) last month, the initiative offers resources catering for learners from nursery through to secondary.

With two children a day being diagnosed with a liver disease, a new resource has been published to help schools.
