The Premier League’s Primary Stars programme is marking its fifth birthday with the launch of an Active Summer Challenge.

Premier League Primary Stars began life in 2017 and now offers more than 640 curriculum-linked activities and resources for primary schools in England and Wales.

Covering maths, English, PSHE, and PE, more than 58,000 teachers have downloaded and used the free resources since the programme began.

This summer, to mark the anniversary, the Premier League is launching its Active Summer Challenge, which asks pupils to plan five ways to keep active during the summer holidays.

The new resources are available for teachers to download for free on the Premier League Primary Stars website. The materials feature Premier League football players, club coaches and other experts and support the delivery of PE lessons or to inspire class discussions about the importance of being active.
