A free curriculum pack has been created by a children's charity to help pupils empathise with those who have complex health needs.

It includes activities for numeracy, literacy, spelling and science as well as design technology, drama, the creative arts and PE. It contains lesson ideas for key stages 1 and 2.

The pack has been created by The Children's Trust, which provides care and therapy for children with complex health needs as well as a rehabilitation service for children with an acquired brain injury.

As well as being an education resource, the pack enables pupils to empathise with children who have received care at the Trust and the difficulties that they have overcome.
