Autism support

Schools are being offered access to an extensive range of free autism resources as well as expert advice. Launched by the National Autistic Society (NAS) last month, the initiative offers resources catering for learners from nursery through to secondary.



Disability sport funding

The Project Ability programme, which aims to get more disabled young people playing sport, has received a £300,000 funding boost.

Two "easy read" guides to the SEND reforms have been produced to help parents and young people with learning disabilities.


RESOURCE: Supporting deaf children

This book is both informative and well-structured; outlining the Achievement for All (AFA) programme in a very clear way from vision to practical outworking.


Support for Liver disease

With two children a day being diagnosed with a liver disease, a new resource has been published to help schools.


The Children’s Trust

A free curriculum pack has been created by a children's charity to help pupils empathise with those who have complex health needs.
