Shakespeare-inspired crafts, activities, resources and lessons

The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) has launched a number of resources to support students learning from home during the lockdown.

This includes a series of free toolkits with 15-minute activities for parents and pupils to try out. There are also family and craft activities available on the RSC website.

Meanwhile, its “homework help” initiative, in which actors and RSC alumni respond to students’ emailed questions, is also being extended into the summer term.

The #RSCHomeworkHelp initiative has already received hundreds of questions from young people studying Shakespeare in the UK and around the world.

RSC actors and alumni have been helping to answer the questions including RSC associate artist, David Tennant. The actors, who are currently unable to rehearse or perform, have volunteered to share their tips and answer questions about Shakespeare and drama studies while under lockdown.
