The SEND Network launches

The SEND Network is an online community for professionals, practitioners and advocates working across the special needs sector.

It has been launched by the team behind the annual Tes SEND Show, which is organised and hosted by the publishers of SecEd and Headteacher Update.

The aim of the network is to showcase best practice, current trends, CPD, and thought leadership. The website includes videos and content from previous iterations of the SEND Show and offers a space for peers to network, share ideas and develop their skills.

The launch coincides with this year's Tes SEND Show, which takes place in London this week (October 7 and 8).

The network takes the form of a digital community and offers access to basic content for free. Premium access costs £250 a year and offers material drawn from the Tes SEND Show and SEND Summit, including an archive of digital content from webinars and virtual events that have run since 2020 searchable by topic and specialism.

Premium membership also offers the ability to share and publish your own articles, research studies or innovations, including hosting and recordibng your own group meeting, video conference, roundtable or panel discussion.

Elsewhere, the network offers a “members” and “organisations” directories allowing members to search for, follow and connect with fellow experts in the field.
