The Sex Education Forum has published three new books aimed at helping primary schools to deliver high-quality sex and relationships education (SRE) classes.

The first focuses on the foundations of good teaching and aims to help teachers develop and review their SRE policy and plan and deliver SRE lessons. It includes lesson plans covering topics such as my body, staying safe, puberty and relationships.

The second focuses on consulting children about what is taught, providing suitable methods for schools to use and examples of how it can be done in practice, while the third looks at working with parents and carers and includes a practical guide to help schools communicate the value of good SRE.
