Headteacher Update Autumn Edition (September 2021)

The September 2021 edition of Headteacher Update offers 48 pages of in-depth, research-based and expert best practice, advice and guidance relevant to primary schools.

The edition includes research summaries, news analysis, comment and the latest resources and products.

We also publish our latest eight-page Best Practice Focus pull-out, which focuses on how to respond to trauma and insecure attachment behaviours in the primary school.

Author Shahana Knight looks at some dos and don’ts, common behaviour approaches that simply do not work (and what to do instead), fight-flight-freeze reactions, and using praise, consequences and boundaries. The free download contains lots of practical ideas, suggestions and advice.
