The Headteacher Update Podcast: Launching April 2021

The Headteacher Update Podcast will provide expert and in-depth discussion, best practice advice and tips aimed at senior leaders and all those working in the primary school.

Publishing on the final Wednesday of every month (excluding July), the podcast will tackle key issues within primary education ranging from CPD, school improvement and SEND to pupil wellbeing, poverty and curriculum design.

Each episode will feature three expert guests who will offer their advice, tips and guidance in discussion with our host, Helen Frostick.

Helen is a National Leader of Education, educational consultant, inspector, public speaker and author. She recently retired from her role as headteacher of a south London primary school. The podcast will be around an hour in length and will be available to download from your preferred streaming service, You can also listen here, the podcast page of the Headteacher Update website.

The first episode will focus on pupil wellbeing, mental health and behaviour in the context of the on-going Covid-19 pandemic. This episode features guests including mental health expert Dr Pooky Knightsmith and experienced school leaders Julie Norman and Sophie McGeoch.
