Running on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 6 and 7 (2pm to 6pm daily), the event will be streamed live online across both days, with all sessions available for delegates on-demand for three months after the event.
There will be 12 presentations delivered live and the event offers a further three sessions as on-demand-only downloads for delegates.
All 15 presentations and related resources will be available to download, during the event and on-demand afterwards.
The event has a number of core themes and has been programme-planned by Headteacher Update and SecEd editor Pete Henshaw with the intention of offering solutions, ideas, practical reflections and advice. Key themes include:
- Covid-19: How should schools adapt their curriculum in light of the varying challenges presented by Covid-19 and the disruption caused by a year of lockdown, disruption and self-isolation?
- Diversity, Inclusion, Equality: How should schools respond to the Black Lives Matter revolution and how can we ensure our taught curriculum is diverse, inclusive and reflects the communities we serve? How can we “decolonise” our curriculum?
- Inspection: How should schools continue to prepare for Ofsted’s 2019 inspection framework and its overarching focus on curriculum intent, implementation and impact?
