Oak National Academy summer resources unveiled

Lessons and resources for use in both face-to-face summer schools and for home learning activities have been published as part of the summer learning support offer from Oak National Academy.

The government-funded online learning hub has published a range of academic content as well as art, drama and sporting activities to support on-going education recovery and pupil wellbeing.

Covering the early years through to year 11, the resources come with new formative quizzes to help teachers target their interventions. There is guidance for teachers, parents and pupils, including explanations from subject specialists on how the summer curriculum has been designed.

Other resources include the UK Schools Time Capsule initiative, which is being run with BAFTA and Place2Be and is inviting pupils to make submissions by September 10 using art, photography, writing or other media. Find out more in our report here.
