National charity, 4Children, has revamped and relaunched its popular early years website, which offers a range of resources to professionals.

The website was initially launched in 2011 by 4Children, the lead strategic partner to government for the early years. Since then it has been widely used as a “one stop shop” for the early years workforce, providing information and support to schools and early years settings.

A new feature of the refreshed website is its regular podcast section, hosting informative discussions on topical issues from influential figures within the early years sector.

The refreshed website has been launched with a podcast interview with Olivia McLeod, director for early years and childcare at the Department for Education (DfE). Coming soon will be a discussion with Ann Gross, director for special needs and children’s services at the DfE, who will discuss the implications of the SEN reforms on the early years sector. The website also hosts a parent-facing area to provide guidance and advice directly to parents.
