SpringBoard Maths Challenge

The SpringBoard Maths Challenge is now open to all classes from year 1 to 6 and will run from March 1 to May 8, 2022.

Run by the game-based learning programme SplashLearn, it is free to take part and involves fun maths challenges aligned to the curriculum.

The 10-week challenge aims to help pupils to master maths skills. They earn points individually as well as for their class.

The best performing classes win weekly prizes at county and national level, with the “grand winners” being announced at the end of the challenge. There are prizes worthup to £20,000 on offer this year.

SplashLearn is a primary game-based learning programme which is curriculum-aligned. Its programme caters for year 1 to 6 and is available free-of-charge to schools and teachers. The maths content covers more than 570 skills through 2,376 activities and games. SplashLearn has also recently launched a primary reading programme for teachers.
