The SEND & Inclusion in the mainstream classroom conference will support teachers, school leaders and SENCOs with inclusive practice.
Taking place on Friday, November 25, in Birmingham the event features keynote presentations from Jean Gross CBE and Dr Pooky Knightsmith.
A further 12 practical workshops will offer advice and ideas for how mainstream teachers can ensure SEND students are fully engaged and supported in the classroom. The event, which is relevant to both primary and secondary colleagues, will also offer general advice for effective whole-school inclusive practice.
There are sessions addressing specific types of need such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, DCD, SEMH, and behavioural needs.
