SGOSS – the School Governors’ One Stop Shop – has relaunched its website to coincide with the new school year. The site is designed for prospective volunteers as well as schools that are looking for governors.
SGOSS – the School Governors’ One Stop Shop – has relaunched its website to coincide with the new school year. The site is designed for prospective volunteers as well as schools that are looking for governors.
The SGOSS charity was formed in 1999 as a six-month pilot and now works nationally to recruit talented business people to volunteer as school governors. In the last three years, SGOSS has recruited more than 10,000 volunteers.
The new website features dedicated sections for schools, volunteers and their employers. There is also a resources section with links to other governor support organisations, advice on recruiting school governors, research and other publications.
