Over my 30-year career in schools I took on a number of leadership roles at different levels and in different areas – pastoral and subject leadership, middle and senior leadership, and ultimately headship.
I found leading others to be a fascinating and rewarding challenge. How do we lead in such a way that we get the best from others? And in the process, can we become the best leader we can possibly be?
In my post-headship life I still work with aspiring and serving leaders of all kinds, supporting and constructively challenging them to build their skills and to fulfil their potential, in order better to meet the needs of their schools.
