Free health education resources

e-Bug is a collection of free health education resources for teachers and school-aged children operated by Public Health England

The resources aim to make learning about microbes, the spread of infection and antibiotics fun and accessible.

The website includes a teacher section and a student section. The teacher pages have resources including lesson plans, worksheets and interactive activities for key stages 1 to 5. The student pages complement the teacher resources by providing online games, revision pages and more for students to continue learning at home.

The e-Bug resources have been recognised by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). NICE guidance, to be launched this month, will recommend that schools use e-Bug resources to teach about health and hygiene.
